“No heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams, because every second of the search is a second’s encounter with [g]od and eternity. Paulo Coelho
The concept of “manifesting” one’s destiny may seem complex or hokey. Yet at its most simple form, manifesting is nothing more than allowing yourself to really assume the energy of that which you desire. If you wish to become a basketball player, then each day imagine “putting on basketball player.” I mean put it on! What would it look like, what would it feel like, what would you say? How would you act if you WERE the basketball player. Imagine for a moment that you were the most successful basketball player. Breathe it in. Using your mind’s eye, look around. Breathe. Smile because you’ve made it, you are the basketball player.
You may be thinking “Why?!” But Mr. Coelho and I ask “Why not?!” What is wrong with imagining yourself in all your glory? Try it on and see for yourself. What happens is that your mindset will start to shift and your “real” self will start behaving like your “imagined” self.
You wanna be a boss then you gotta think like a boss.
Manifesting is setting an intention and having a conversation with the universe about your deepest desires. The act of manifesting calls forth the power of the universe and your consciousness to actualize. Your conscious and subconscious mind will pay attention and will act in ways that resonate with your desires. It is not magic, it is a physical and mental fact.
What harm can come from trying? I dare you…
If you’re interested in learning more about manifesting, I highly suggest checking out the works of Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, or Gabby Bernstein. These Manifesting Guru’s are great resources for learning about consciousness and how to manifest your reality.
